My acting background paved the way for me to become a presenter and commentator for Pokémon alongside, the largest multimedia franchise in the world. I am a familiar face on their competitive video game esports streams, broadcast live to their 7 million YouTube subscribers and counting, for which I travel all over the world.

I bring the hype to arenas packed with thousands; interview remarkable people; present quizzes and game segments, features and awards ceremonies; host on the couch light entertainment-style; teach people via my commentary; hero-build players; provide dynamic voice-overs - and I love a good (or bad) one-liner… I’m a merry man, after all!

I am a huge fan of quiz & game shows such as Only Connect and Pointless - in my opinion trivia is an underrated source of joy: the more useless, the better! As an actor, I am passionate about the arts and pop culture, as well as physical & mental health and the relationship between them. I have cystic fibrosis and wrote & performed a one-man show about my experiences, WONDER DRUG: A Comedy about Cystic Fibrosis, which received 5-star reviews and award nominations at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Having studied Classics at Cambridge University, I also love history and learning about other cultures - and shining a light on people’s stories. I have interviewed 100 guests for my podcast, Chazingdra Chats (Chazingdra is the alias I use for Pokémon), from World Champions to musicians to maths professors like Tom Rocks Maths to creators with millions of subscribers like Brian David Gilbert, not to mention the countless people I’ve interviewed at Pokémon events.
